One of the Residents of Adeleke Street, Ikeja, Lagos State, were this
afternoon taken by surprise when two suspected carjackers were given a
hot chase to the neighborhood.
The suspects were said to have broken
into a Toyota Highlander jeep parked on Tinuade Street, opposite First
Bank Bust Stop, off Allen Road, and made away with phones and a laptop
computer.
Luck, however, ran out on one of the suspects as he was chased by eyewitnesses and caught at Adeleke Street, off Tinuade.
Reacting
to the incident, a lady, who works in one of the offices located along
Tinuade street, said on Friday, June 19, some people came to their
office dressed as PHCN staff and stole phones and laptops.
